Q. What is this site all about?
A. Basically the site was made to allow the average web user the chance
to advertise their own space while voting on some interesting, sometimes
wacky topics. It's a new/fun/unique/cool way to advertise.
Q. Where is the
gimmick?
A. I get asked this a lot. I think the idea of voting to advertise is
what makes this site unique. There's already enough copycat pixel/link sites
looking to make 1 million dollars or trying to pay for school etc. I'd
rather be at the front of a new line...then the back of an old one...so
no gimmick needed. (Besides why would someone want to make only
one million dollars? :-)
In fact my gimmick should be NOT THE NEXT MILLION DOLLAR HOMEPAGE.
Q. Where did you
get the idea from?
A. Well, I like original ideas and believe that's what makes a site
successful. After seeing soooo many copycat pixel/link sites, I thought
there needed to be a new type of site for people with myspace accounts, blogs,
websites etc. to post ads on. I also wanted a site that would grow
and evolve. So there is no end goal because new and unique
vote topics will always come up to keep the site fresh and interesting.
Q. What's the
deal with becoming a PiDDy PiNE Partner?
A. With every other amateur ad site it's all about the site owner making
money. I thought it would be a good/different idea to share some of the
revenue with other users. All they have to do is come up with clever
ideas that people would buy vote ads on and they get half the net
revenue.
